It’s been a busy week for media coverage of our work.
First, the “mother of all back-to-the-land” magazines, Mother Earth News, gave me and Jon a corner to blog about our book and film. We’re both delighted about that.
Next, a couple of local radio stations–CFAX (Victoria) and CKNW (Vancouver)–interviewed me live to talk about the publication of the book and the imminent release of the documentary.
In the meantime my local community newspaper, the Gabriola Sounder, published a press release crucial in promoting a local screening happening on Dec. 7 on my island.
To cap it all, CBC Radio’s Mark Forsythe did a phenomenal interview with me on BC Alamanac. Callers phoned in to share their experiences with off-grid living and a great time was had by all. Probably one of my most enjoyable interviews ever (thanks Mark!).
And I happen to know that there is more coming too…!
